U.S. Figure Skating Members –

Yesterday marked 500 days since the scheduled medal ceremony for the team event at the 2022 Olympic Winter Games, and our nine U.S. competitors have yet to receive their Olympic medals.

As the legal process continues and we continue to push for a swift resolution, we’ve teamed up with the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Museum in Colorado Springs, Colorado, to open a “More Than Medals” exhibit featuring all nine empty Olympic medal boxes. The display opened today, Friday, June 23, and features the story behind the skaters coming home empty-handed and a plea for the fight for integrity in the sport.

The exhibit will be on display until a resolution has been reached, so we invite you to visit if you find yourself in Colorado Springs. Until then, we ask for your help sharing our story using #MoreThanMedals on social media to call for Olympic integrity and a swift resolution for these athletes.

Sincerely,

U.S. Figure Skating
